Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the croupier is given 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand need to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
