Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the western in a great game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that players compete against other players. By gambling against the dealer, new players do not need to be concerned about other, more knowledgeable people taking their mulla.
A further Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game play, beginners will be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make frenzied selections.
It is also easier to wager on for an extended time with only a tiny bit of money since, to lose, both of your hands must be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the dealer receives 7 cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
